The roughness and forcefulness of the work of the sculptor Julio Muñoz inspired the creation of this piece in iron-red colour, which functions as a column or clay door. The sculptural weight of the piece directs us towards a place that is none other than our own nature, where the earth accompanies us.
Terracotta grog clay. Fired at 1040 degrees. Piece worked on the wheel using wooden tools and fishing line. Unglazed. Does not hold liquids.
