The site of Lefkandi, at the mouth of the Lelas River on the Greek island of Euboea, is one of the places where the most Mycenaean-origin ceramics (1000 B.C.) have been found. An inspiring place well worth remembering in pieces as organic as this iron-red-coloured vase created by the ceramist César Rivas.
Terracotta grog clay. Fired at 1040 degrees.Vase created from three pieces worked on the wheel and asymmetrically joined.
Does not hold liquids.
