The site of Lefkandi, at the mouth of the Lelas River on the Greek island of Euboea, is one of the places where the most Mycenaean-origin ceramics (1000 B.C.) have been found. An inspiring place well worth remembering in pieces as organic as this iron-red-coloured vase created by the ceramist César Rivas.
Terracotta grog clay. Fired at 1040 degrees. Vase created from three pieces worked on the wheel and asymmetrically joined. Does not hold liquids.
