As if it were a small piece of Alto de Rocacorba, the mountain that overlooks the town of Banyolas (Girona, Spain), where the artist works. This plate is inspired by those rocks that clothe the peaks, iron-like, powerful, sublime, and tactile.
Piece crafted through modeling, with textured edges achieved by applying pressure with a stone. Ochre stoneware with 0-0.2mm grog (type 1). White stoneware with 0-0.2mm grog (types 2 and 3). Artist's own non-toxic, matte light green, high-temperature glaze containing iron oxide and copper oxide (type 1). Artist's own non-toxic, matte dark brown, high-temperature glaze containing iron oxide (type 2). Artist's own non-toxic, textured satin white, high-temperature glaze containing zinc oxide (type 3). Suitable for use as dinnerware, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Measurements: Height: 4 cm / Depth: 2 cm / Diameter: 20 cm.
